Science Alliance is a member of the National Science Education Leadership Association, STEM SENC Learning Ecosystem, NC Science Leadership Association, the NC Science Teachers Association,

and the Franklin Institute Leap into Science Initiative.

Our educators have decades of experience in formal and informal education. Our team energy is KIND and FUN.

Our founder, Pepper Hill, has over 20 years training and experience in informal education program development and implementation. She was a 2019 Smart Start Children's Champion honoree and a 2019 YWCA Women of Achievement nominee. Ms. Pepper is a certified Project Learning Tree facilitator, longtime Science Olympiad and NC Science and Engineering Fair judge, and a former National History Day regional coordinator.

Ms. Pepper is a 2022-2024 alumnus of the NC Science Leadership Association Fellows Program and is the current Chair of the NCSLA Informal Science Committee.

Also, she is basically a 4-year-old in spirit.
